Ball valve with union and butterfly handle is a reliable solution for precise flow control in installations. Made of high-quality brass (CuZn40Pb2, CW617N), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. The construction with a BSPP-G internal thread at one end and a BSPP external thread at the other allows for easy installation in various configurations.
Construction and application
This valve, with a nominal diameter of 1/2 inch (DN15), is designed for use in heating, water and pneumatic systems. Full bore flow minimizes pressure loss, which translates to efficient operation of the installation. The union allows for convenient and secure tightening of the valve, and the butterfly handle facilitates quick opening and closing. This is particularly useful during servicing or maintenance of the installation.
Operating parameters and safety
The valve operates at a maximum pressure of PN 32 and a temperature of up to 120°C, and also at a minimum temperature of -30°C. It can be used with glycol, compressed air and water. The material of construction – CW617N-4MS brass – is nickel-free, which is important for health and environmental protection. The use of a ball valve provides effective isolation of a section of the installation during repairs or component replacement. Thanks to the pressure class PN32, the valve is adapted to work in systems with increased working pressure.
