Angled strainer with magnet, nut-to-nut, DN20, G3/4 F03M
Slant filter with magnet – protection of the installation and extension of its lifespan
A mesh slant filter with a magnet is a reliable solution for protecting central heating, air conditioning, and renewable energy systems. Its design allows for effective removal of both mechanical and magnetic contaminants, such as magnetite – a product of steel corrosion. This ensures optimal installation performance and protects circulating pumps from damage and reduced efficiency.
This filter is particularly useful in plumbing installations, where the presence of contaminants can lead to failures and costly repairs. Made of high-quality CW617N-4MS brass with reduced nickel and lead content, it guarantees durability and safety of use. The stainless steel AISI304 filter insert provides high cleaning accuracy, and the built-in neodymium N35 magnet (with a strength of 6000-9500 GS) effectively captures magnetic particles.
Construction and application
The filter design with a G3/4 (DN20) nut-to-nut connection allows for easy installation even in tight spaces. It is intended for use in cold and hot water installations, as well as in heating and cooling systems where water or a water-glycol solution (up to 50%) is used as the working medium. It meets the PN 16 standard, which guarantees safe operation at a nominal pressure of up to 16 bar and a working temperature of up to 100°C.
- Effective filtration: The mesh insert with a mesh size of 0.36 mm² stops even fine mechanical contaminants.
- Protection against corrosion: The neodymium magnet removes magnetite, minimizing the risk of corrosion and scale build-up.
- Durability and reliability: Made of CW617N-4MS brass with reduced nickel and lead content and AISI304 stainless steel.
- Easy maintenance: The filter can be easily cleaned by unscrewing the plug and removing contaminants from the magnetic insert and filter mesh. Cleaning is recommended at least once a year, before the heating season.
- Versatility: Suitable for central heating, air conditioning, solar systems and plumbing installations.
Regularly cleaning the filter is an investment in the long-term and trouble-free operation of the entire heating or cooling installation. This ensures not only energy savings but also reduces costs associated with repairs and replacement of damaged components.
