Fluke 301D AC/DC clamp meter 6101416
Compact AC/DC clamp meter for professional measurements
The Fluke 301D clamp meter is a versatile measuring tool designed for mobility and precision. Thanks to its lightweight design weighing 154 g and a slim housing with a thickness of 16 mm, it fits comfortably in a pocket, making it the ideal companion for every electrician and technician.
Functionality and measurement capabilities
The 301D model offers comprehensive measurement capabilities in a single device. It supports AC/DC current measurement up to 600 A with a high resolution of 0.01 A, enabling precise diagnostics of electrical circuits. Additionally, it measures AC/DC voltage up to 600 V, resistance in the range from 600 Ω to 60 kΩ, capacitance, and signal frequency.
Narrow jaws with a thickness of only 10 mm and an opening of 34 mm ensure easy access to densely packed wires in switchboards and junction boxes. The device is equipped with continuity and diode testing functions, which expands its diagnostic capabilities.
Construction and operational safety
The meter's housing meets CAT III safety category requirements with a maximum operating voltage of 300 V, ensuring an appropriate level of user protection when working with electrical installations. The IP30 protection rating protects against finger access and small objects with a diameter greater than 2.5 mm.
The backlit LCD display allows for reading results even in poorly lit working conditions. Automatic range selection simplifies operation, and the automatic shut-off function after 20 minutes extends the operating time on two AAA batteries to a minimum of 500 hours.
Practical applications
The meter is ideal for HVAC installation diagnostics, where precise motor current measurement is crucial for maintaining heating and cooling systems. In residential switchboards, it enables quick checking of individual circuit loads and identification of lighting installation problems.
In commercial environments, it is used for servicing electronic devices, testing power supplies, and diagnosing building automation systems. Thanks to its compact dimensions (190 × 52 × 16 mm), it fits into standard junction boxes and modular switchboards.
The device complies with IEC 61010-1 and IEC61010-2-032 standards for the CAT III category, confirming its safety for use in industrial and commercial environments.
