Fragranite Material – A Guarantee of Longevity

At the heart of this sink is Fragranite material – a composite consisting of 80% quartz and 20% acrylic binder. This combination provides exceptional resistance to:

• Scratches and impacts: Quartz, as one of the hardest raw materials, protects the surface from mechanical damage.
• High temperature: You can safely place a hot pot on it for a short time (up to 15 seconds at a temperature of up to 280°C).
• Color fading: The beige shade will retain its intensity for years, even under the influence of sunlight.
• Stains and dirt: The smooth surface makes it difficult for bacteria to settle and makes cleaning easier.
• Sudden temperature changes: Feel free to pour both cold and hot water.

Additionally, Fragranite material has antibacterial properties thanks to silver phosphate protection, limiting the development of bacteria and germs.

Functionality Tailored to Your Needs

The Franke Basis BFG 611 sink has been designed with user comfort in mind:

• Rectangular shape and dimensions of 780 x 500 mm provide a large working space.
• Deep bowl (340 x 420 x 200 mm) can accommodate even large pots and baking sheets.
• Two under-mounted holes allow for the installation of a kitchen faucet on the left or right side, as well as a dish soap dispenser.
• Ribbed drainer on the left and right side allows for convenient drying of dishes.
• Automatic plug controlled by a knob ensures quick and hygienic draining of the sink. The plug has an overflow, preventing the kitchen from flooding in case you forget to turn off the water.
• A siphon is included in the set, making installation easier.
• Possibility of mounting a waste disposer.

The sink is designed for a cabinet with a width of 45 cm and is reversible, providing flexibility during installation. The cutout in the countertop should be 760 x 480 mm with a radius of R=12 mm.

Additional Information for Professionals

Under-mounted holes are made in the factory, but if necessary, additional holes (with a diameter of 35mm) can be drilled in places without structural reinforcements, using an appropriate core drill (titanium, tungsten or diamond). Please remember that drilling additional holes is at your own risk.
