The joint construction consists of an elastomeric sealing sleeve, a plastic positioning basket, and two alloy steel straps, ensuring precise and secure fit.

The VPC150BF_0063 joint is specifically designed to connect a round concrete pipe with a DN150 foot to a plastic pipe DN/OD 150 using a plastic adapter DN/OD 210-215 mm. This is a ready-made solution that eliminates the need for additional connecting elements and simplifies the installation process.

Construction and special features

The key element of the joint is the sealing sleeve made of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber compliant with PN-EN 681-1 WC/60. It has a double sealing profile, guaranteeing tightness according to PN-EN 1610. Projections on the circumference of the sleeve ensure proper engagement with the positioning basket. The positioning basket, made of durable plastic resistant to low and high temperatures, centers the joined materials and allows smooth diameter adjustment. The alloy steel fastening straps adapt the sleeve to different outer pipe diameters, providing a stable and secure connection.
