This electric kit from Galmet is a reliable solution for heating domestic hot water in heat exchangers. It is ideal both as an independent source of hot water outside the heating season and as a support for the main heating system in winter. Installation is simple, and temperature regulation is precise thanks to the included thermostat. The kit is designed to work with heat exchangers equipped with a 180 mm flange, mounted with 8 M12 screws.

Construction and application

The kit contains all the necessary elements for correct and safe installation: a 3 kW heater powered by 230V, a solid metal flange with a diameter of 180 mm with a gasket ensuring tightness, a thermostat with wires for temperature regulation in the range of 8-77°C, and thermal protection to prevent overheating and boiling of the water. Additionally, the set includes a sensor cover, plastic washers under the heating element, and a place for mounting a magnesium anode – which extends the life of the device and prevents corrosion of the tank. The whole is enclosed in a durable plastic housing, and the electric cable is adapted to the 230V mains voltage.
