Functionality and application

The GSM-M8 modem works with GAZEX control modules, monitoring key system states:

• Alarms: A1, A2, A3 – immediate notification of the detection of dangerous gas concentrations.
• System failure: Information about problems with the operation of the gas detection system.
• Shut-off valve status: Control of the valve status (closed/open), which is crucial for the safety of the installation.
• Modem opening: Notification of potential compromise of the device's integrity.

When the status of any of the monitored parameters changes, the modem sends an SMS message to programmed phone numbers. The ability to configure up to 8 phone numbers provides flexibility and the ability to notify the appropriate people.

Easy installation and configuration

The kit includes everything you need to get started quickly: a modem with a built-in control and power cable, an external antenna, and a USB cable for configuration from a PC. Connecting to the control module terminal block is simple and intuitive. Modem parameters can be configured in two ways:

• Via SMS: Simply send a text message to the modem with an active SIM card.
• Via PC: Using the USB port and dedicated software, you can fully customize the modem's functionality, including controlling 4 OC type outputs and modifying custom functions.
