Carbon monoxide detector – protecting your safety
This gas detector is designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide (CO) concentration in enclosed spaces. The device cyclically measures the CO level in the air and, in the event of exceeding permissible norms, activates optical and acoustic signaling, and also activates control outputs. This ensures a quick response to potential hazards and minimizes the risk of poisoning.
Application and functionality
The WG-22.EG detector will be useful in many places where there is a risk of carbon monoxide accumulation, such as:
- closed garages and underground parking lots – ventilation control,
- vehicle inspection stations and car workshops – exhaust fan control,
- solid fuel boiler rooms,
- rooms with heating devices using fuel combustion.
The device is characterized by high selectivity of carbon monoxide measurement and reliability thanks to the built-in microprocessor. It has three alarm thresholds, configurable contact outputs, and the possibility of connecting an external siren. A replaceable gas sensor ensures simple and inexpensive operation.
Construction and mounting
The detector is housed in a solid, splash-proof housing (IP54), which guarantees its durability and resistance to environmental conditions. It has removable terminals to facilitate the connection of stranded wires. The device is fully automatic and does not require adjustment. 230V power supply ensures easy installation and use. The dimensions of the detector are 80 x 195 x 68 mm, allowing for its discreet mounting in various locations.
Additionally, GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which confirms their high quality and measurement accuracy. The semiconductor sensor has an estimated lifespan of about 10 years in clean air.
