The DG-20.EN/M gas detector is an economical, digital device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) concentrations in premises. It is used to detect dangerous levels of these gases, providing a quick response and protection of health and life. The device is ideal for both industrial applications and public buildings, as well as spaces requiring special air quality control.

Functionality and application

The DG-20.EN/M detector operates on the principle of cyclic gas concentration measurement. If defined alarm thresholds are exceeded, optical signaling is activated, and information about the hazard is sent to the central supervisory module via the RS-485 interface with the MODBUS RTU protocol. This allows for remote monitoring of the detector status, their identification and diagnostics of the entire network. The device will be perfect in:

• industrial plants and logistics centers,
• public utility facilities (hospitals, schools, offices),
• hotels and residential buildings,
• large halls and rooms threatened by the emission of toxic gases,
• underground garages – ventilation control and warning of CO or LPG/CNG presence,

Construction and features of the detector

The DG-20.EN/M detector is characterized by a solid construction with a splash-proof housing (IP43), which ensures its reliability even in difficult working conditions. It has two cable glands facilitating serial connection of devices in a network. A key element is the replaceable sensor module, which simplifies maintenance, calibration and reduces operating costs. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation and thermal compensation system for precise measurements. Additionally, the detector offers:

• three programmable gas concentration alarm thresholds;
• the ability to configure settings using the dedicated "DETnet View" software (available on the Gazex website);
• calibration standards confirmed by the accreditation of the GAZEX Calibration Laboratory (PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard).

Thanks to the replaceable sensors, the detector is flexible in use – it can be adapted to monitor various types of gases (carbon monoxide, methane, propane-butane or refrigerants). It is an investment for years!
