Gas detectors – reliable protection against refrigerant leaks
The DG-61.EN/M-Nstd gas detector is an economical, digital device designed for continuous monitoring of refrigerant (Freon) presence in rooms. Its task is to quickly detect dangerous gas concentrations, minimizing health and environmental risks. The device is particularly useful in air conditioning, refrigeration installations, and in rooms where refrigerant leaks may occur.
Functionality and application
The DG-61.EN/M-Nstd detector works with the Digital Gas Detection System, transmitting information about the detected hazard via the RS-485 network with the MODBUS RTU protocol to the supervisory module. The alarm signal is realized optically, providing quick and clear information about exceeding the permissible gas concentration levels. A replaceable sensor module facilitates maintenance and calibration, reducing operating costs. This makes the detector suitable for industrial plants, logistics centers, and public facilities.
Construction and user features
The device is characterized by a solid construction with a splash-proof housing (IP43), ensuring its reliability in harsh working conditions. Two cable glands facilitate serial connection of detectors, allowing the creation of an extended monitoring system. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation, temperature compensation, and semi-automatic addressing on the network. Detector settings are configured using the dedicated "DETnet View" software. It is worth emphasizing that all GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Accredited Calibration Laboratory according to the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees measurement accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. The replaceable semiconductor sensor allows easy adaptation to different needs and media – in this case, for detecting refrigerants R32 or R410A with a measurement range up to 2500 ppm.
