Gas detector DG-8R8/M-Nstd CO2, calibration on request <2 %v/v, recommended temperature range 0-45 °C, IR sensor DG-8R8/M-NSTD
Carbon dioxide detector for continuous gas concentration monitoring.
The DG-8R8/M-Nstd gas detector is designed for continuous monitoring of carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in rooms. The device uses an optical sensor (Infra-Red), providing precise and reliable measurement. The detector is calibrated to a range below 2% volume, which guarantees reading accuracy under typical operating conditions. The recommended operating temperature range is 0-45°C, making it suitable for most industrial and commercial applications.
The DG-8R8/M-Nstd detector works with a Digital Gas Detection System, enabling integration with a central supervisory module via RS-485 communication with the MODBUS RTU protocol. This allows for remote monitoring of the detector status and quick response to exceeding permissible CO2 levels. A built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation, semi-automatic addressing on the network, and a history of alarm states.
Application and benefits for the installer:
- Easy integration: RS-485 communication with the MODBUS RTU protocol facilitates connection to existing control and monitoring systems.
- Replaceable sensor: Modular design with a replaceable optical sensor simplifies maintenance and calibration, reducing operating costs.
- Quick installation: Splash-proof housing (IP44) and two cable glands enable easy installation and connection of subsequent detectors in the system.
- Software configuration: Detector settings can be configured using dedicated "DETnet View" software, available on the manufacturer's website.
Application and benefits for the end user:
- Safety: Continuous monitoring of CO2 concentration ensures safe working and living conditions in rooms, especially in places with limited ventilation.
- Early warning: In the event of exceeding permissible CO2 levels, the detector generates an alarm signal, informing about a potential hazard.
- Reliability: The use of an optical sensor (Infra-Red) and high-quality components guarantees long-term and trouble-free operation of the device.
- Wide range of applications: The detector is used in industrial plants, logistics centers, public utility facilities, and large rooms threatened by CO2 emissions.
The DG-8R8/M-Nstd detector is factory calibrated in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which ensures its metrological reliability. The device is not intended for use in areas threatened by explosion of gases, vapors or dusts – it has a standard construction.
