Carbon dioxide detector for precise measurement and monitoring
The DG-P8R8.EN gas detector is a reliable device designed for continuous measurement of carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in enclosed spaces. It utilizes proven infrared (NDIR) measurement technology with auto-calibration, ensuring accurate and stable readings. The 4-20mA output signal allows for easy integration with control and monitoring systems, such as MDP, MDD modules or other control panels accepting a standard input line. The detector is particularly useful in applications requiring air quality control and ensuring safe working conditions.
Application and functionality
The DG-P8R8.EN detector finds application in various facilities, such as:
- Greenhouses: Monitoring CO2 levels for optimal plant growth.
- Mushroom farms: Controlling CO2 concentration to ensure appropriate growing conditions.
- Industrial plants: Monitoring CO2 emissions in production processes.
- Public facilities: Ensuring a safe CO2 level for users.
The device is characterized by high resistance to interference caused by water vapor and other gases, as well as to exceeding the measurement range – even up to 100% CO2 volume. The durable, splash-proof housing (IP43) provides protection against moisture and mechanical damage, guaranteeing long-term and trouble-free operation.
Design and characteristic features
The DG-P8R8.EN detector has been designed with ease of installation and maintenance in mind. A replaceable sensor module allows for quick replacement in the event of a failure or the need for calibration, minimizing system downtime. The device is powered by an external system, simplifying integration with existing infrastructure. All GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which confirms their high quality and measurement accuracy. It should be remembered that the detector has a conventional construction and should not be used in places where there is a risk of explosion of gases, vapors or dusts.
