The WG-14.EGx/A-Nstd gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of methane concentration in enclosed spaces. Its selective sensor provides precise measurements, minimizing the risk of false alarms. Application and functionality

The device finds wide application in places where methane may potentially accumulate, such as garages, underground parking lots, boiler rooms, or rooms with gas appliances. Thanks to the built-in microprocessor, the detector operates fully automatically, without the need for adjustment. In the event of exceeding defined alarm thresholds, optical and acoustic signaling is activated, and control outputs are activated to allow connection of an external siren or other alarm devices. The ability to connect an external siren expands the functionality of the device and adapts it to the specific needs of the installation.

Construction and characteristic features

The detector is housed in a solid, splash-proof enclosure (IP54), which guarantees its reliability even in harsh environmental conditions. The replaceable gas sensor facilitates maintenance and reduces operating costs. The device is powered by 12V DC, ensuring compatibility with various power systems. Additionally, the detector has three programmable alarm thresholds and three NO-type contact outputs, allowing for flexible adaptation to individual installation requirements. All terminals are removable, making it easier to connect multi-strand wires. The device is calibrated in its own GAZEX Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which confirms its high quality and measurement accuracy. 12V power supply allows connection of additional external devices via dedicated terminals with a fuse.
