LPG gas detector – safety and reliability in one device
This detector is designed for continuous monitoring of propane-butane (LPG) gas concentration in enclosed spaces. Its task is to quickly detect potential leaks and trigger an alarm, minimizing the risk of danger. The device is used both in domestic and industrial installations, providing users with peace of mind and security.
The WG-15.EGx/A24 detector is an advanced solution for anyone using LPG gas. Thanks to its precise sensor and reliable construction, it provides effective protection against the hazards associated with gas leaks. Acoustic and optical signaling informs about exceeding permissible norms, and the ability to connect an external siren further increases the effectiveness of warning.
Functionality and application
The detector is designed to work with propane-butane (LPG) gas and calibrated in the range of 10/20/30% LEL propane. This makes it ideal for monitoring gas concentration in:
- closed garages and underground parking lots – ventilation control;
- solid fuel boiler rooms;
- rooms with air conditioning and refrigeration equipment;
- cold storage rooms for food;
- and other rooms where there is a risk of LPG gas leakage.
The device has three programmable alarm thresholds and three NO-type contact outputs, allowing integration with ventilation control systems or gas shut-off. In addition, the detector is equipped with a built-in sounder and the possibility of connecting an external 12V=/80mA siren. 24V power supply ensures stable operation of the device.
Construction and mounting
The detector is characterized by a solid construction and splash-proof housing (IP54), which ensures its durability and resistance to environmental conditions. Removable terminals facilitate the connection of multi-wire cables, and compact dimensions (80 x 195 x 68 mm) allow for easy mounting in various places. It is worth remembering that GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation no. AP150), which guarantees the accuracy of measurements. The replaceable gas sensor ensures simple and inexpensive operation of the device for a long time.
