Safety in Your Garage and Beyond
The WG-15.EGx gas detector is a reliable device designed for continuous monitoring of propane-butane (LPG) gas presence in enclosed spaces. Its function is to monitor gas concentration in the air and activate an alarm if permissible levels are exceeded. This is crucial for safety in garages, vehicle inspection stations, boiler rooms, and other places where gas leaks may occur.
How it Works and Where to Use?
The WG-15.EGx detector uses a semiconductor gas sensor, calibrated to measure propane-butane concentration at levels of 10%, 20% and 30% LEL (Lower Explosive Limit). The device is powered by 230V, ensuring its continuous operation. The alarm signal is provided both visually and audibly, and the detector also has three NO (Normally Open) relay outputs that can be used to connect an external siren or other alarm devices.
The detector is suitable for use in the following locations:
- Closed garages and underground parking lots – controlling ventilation to ensure adequate air quality.
- Vehicle inspection stations – monitoring gas levels during technical inspections.
- Solid fuel boiler rooms – protection against the accumulation of explosive gases.
- Rooms with air conditioning and refrigeration equipment – detecting potential leaks of refrigerants.
Ease of Use and Reliability
The detector's design is focused on ease of use and reliability. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable device operation, and automatic calibration eliminates the need for manual adjustments. The replaceable gas sensor allows for quick and inexpensive replacement in case of wear or damage. The device is calibrated in its own GAZEX Calibrating Laboratory, operating in accordance with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025, which guarantees measurement accuracy. A robust, splash-proof housing (IP54) protects the detector from mechanical damage and weather conditions. Additionally, all terminals are removable, making it easy to connect multi-strand wires without the need for specialized tools.
