Gas detector – safety in enclosed spaces
The WG-20.EG/ANstd gas detector is a reliable device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) concentrations in enclosed spaces, such as garages, underground car parks, workshops, or vehicle inspection stations. Its task is to warn of exceeding the permissible norms of these harmful gases, which is crucial for protecting health and life.
Functionality and application
The WG-20.EG/ANstd detector uses advanced electrochemical sensor technology for precise measurement of CO and NO2 concentrations. The device is equipped with three programmable alarm thresholds for CO, compliant with the European standard PN-EN 50545-1:2012, ensuring an effective response to potential hazards. This allows the installer to adjust the detector's sensitivity to the specific conditions of a given facility. The alarm signal is provided optically, and additionally, control outputs are available for connecting external alarm devices or ventilation systems.
The device is particularly useful in places where there is a risk of accumulation of vehicle exhaust fumes or emissions of gases during technological processes. Thanks to its compact size and robust housing (IP54), the detector can be easily mounted in various locations. The replaceable gas sensor ensures low operating costs and long device life – sensor replacement does not require specialized knowledge or interference with the detector's internal structure.
Construction and characteristic features
The WG-20.EG/ANstd detector stands out with a well-thought-out design that combines reliability and ease of use. The built-in microprocessor ensures stable device operation, temperature compensation, and the ability to record event history. It has three independent outputs with a configurable common contact, allowing for flexible adaptation to installation needs. The 12V DC power supply facilitates integration with existing power systems. All connections are made using screw terminals, allowing for direct connection of multi-wire cables. The detector is factory calibrated in an accredited GAZEX laboratory (PCA No. AP150), guaranteeing measurement accuracy from the very beginning of use.
