The WG-22.EG/A-Nstd gas detector is a reliable device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide (CO) concentration in the air. Its main task is to detect dangerous levels of this gas early on, which is crucial for ensuring safety in enclosed spaces such as garages, underground car parks, and car workshops and boiler rooms. The device signals exceeding the permissible concentration limits of CO both optically and by activating control outputs, enabling a quick response and preventing potential hazards.

This detector is widely used in places where there is a risk of carbon monoxide formation, e.g. when using fuel-burning appliances. Its precise measurement and reliable operation make it an ideal solution for both professional installers of ventilation and alarm systems, as well as individual users who care about their own safety and the safety of their loved ones. It is worth emphasizing that GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees measurement accuracy.

Design and functionality

The WG-22.EG/A-Nstd device is characterized by a solid construction and easy installation. 12V DC power supply provides flexibility in choosing the energy source, and compact dimensions (80 x 195 x 68 mm) allow for discreet installation in various locations. The built-in microprocessor is responsible for stable operation of the detector and provides a thermal compensation system, which minimizes the impact of temperature changes on measurement accuracy. Additionally, the detector has three alarm thresholds (compliant with the European standard PN-EN 50545-1:2012), which allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the device to the specific conditions prevailing in a given room.

The replaceable gas sensor is another important feature of this model – it allows for quick and inexpensive replacement of the measuring element without the need to disassemble the entire detector. Three separated outputs with the possibility of configuring the common contact connection provide a great deal of freedom in connecting to external alarm systems or ventilation control. The detector is fully automatic – it does not require any adjustments after installation. The housing made of ABS/PC provides resistance to mechanical damage and splash protection (IP54 in the recommended mounting position).
