Carbon Monoxide Detector for Garages and Underground Parking Lots
This detector is designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide (CO) concentration in enclosed spaces such as garages, underground parking lots, boiler rooms, or rooms with gas appliances. Its purpose is to detect dangerous CO levels early on, allowing ventilation or an alarm to be activated and preventing poisoning. The device is particularly useful where there is a risk of this gas being emitted – e.g., when internal combustion engines are running.
Functionality and application
The WG-22.NGA detector uses a semiconductor sensor to measure the concentration of carbon monoxide. It has three alarm thresholds that activate optical and acoustic signaling when permissible levels are exceeded. In addition, the detector is equipped with control outputs that can be used to automatically start ventilation or other safety systems. A replaceable sensor module facilitates maintenance and recalibration of the device, reducing operating costs.
CO concentration control: Continuous measurement of carbon monoxide concentration in the air.
Alarm signaling: Optical and acoustic signaling when permissible CO levels are exceeded.
Control outputs: Allow automatic activation of ventilation or other safety systems.
Replaceable sensor: Facilitates maintenance and recalibration of the device.
12V DC power supply: Allows flexible use in various installations.
Robust housing: Made of high-impact ABS, splash-proof (IP43), ensures durability and resistance to environmental conditions.
Construction and mounting
The WG-22.NGA detector is a compact device with dimensions of 165 x 190 x 96 mm, which can be easily mounted on a wall or ceiling. It has contact and voltage outputs of 12V DC for connecting external signaling devices or ventilation control systems. It is important to place the detector in a place where air circulates freely and is not obstructed – in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions (available separately). The device is factory calibrated and ready for use immediately after connecting the power supply – but remember to check the calibration expiry date! The "FAILURE" output indicates a detector malfunction or power failure, which facilitates installation diagnostics.
