Safety in Your Home and Business – Carbon Monoxide Detector GAZEX WG-22.NGBs
This detector is designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide (CO) concentration in the air, ensuring safety in places with potential hazards, such as boiler rooms, rooms with gas appliances, or garages. The device monitors CO levels, and when permissible limits are exceeded, it activates both optical and acoustic signaling, warning of danger.
Functionality and Application
The WG-22.NGBs detector uses a semiconductor CO sensor that provides precise and reliable measurement. It is particularly useful in:
- boiler rooms fired with solid, liquid or gas fuels;
- rooms with appliances powered by coke gas;
- auxiliary rooms adjacent to boiler rooms;
- garages and underground parking lots.
Thanks to the built-in microprocessor, the detector is characterized by stable operation and thermal compensation, and also has a history of alarm states. It is equipped with three alarm thresholds (A1, A2, A3) adapted to safety standards.
Construction and Additional Functions
The detector is enclosed in a solid ABS housing (IP43), which provides resistance to moisture and mechanical damage. It has an internal battery to maintain operation in the event of a power failure and an "FAILURE" contact output informing about any problems with the device or power supply. Additionally, it offers a 12V= alarm output for connecting external signaling devices. It is worth emphasizing that all GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own laboratory accredited in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard. This guarantees the accuracy and reliability of measurements. A replaceable sensor module facilitates maintenance and reduces the operating costs of the device.
