Gas detector – reliable protection and air quality control

The WG-28.EG/A24-Nstd gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations in various spaces. It is used both in industrial installations and in public utility facilities, ensuring safety and optimal working conditions. The device combines measurement accuracy, reliable operation and ease of use.

Application and functionality

The WG-28.EG/A24-Nstd detector finds wide application in places where there is a risk of accumulation of harmful gases, such as:

• closed garages and underground car parks – controlling ventilation systems,
• vehicle inspection stations and car workshops – monitoring exhaust fumes and controlling exhaust systems,
• warehouses, loading zones and logistics centers – ensuring safe working conditions.

Equipped with two independent sensors – semiconductor for CO measurement and optical (infra-red) for CO2 measurement – the detector offers a comprehensive analysis of air composition. 24V power supply ensures stable operation of the device in various conditions. A built-in microprocessor is responsible for reliable operation, thermal compensation and event history.

Construction and characteristic features

The detector has been designed with durability and ease of installation in mind. A one-piece, splash-proof housing (IP54 in the recommended mounting position) protects the internal components from mechanical damage and external factors. A replaceable gas sensor guarantees low operating costs and the possibility of quick replacement in case of failure or the need for calibration. The device has three programmable alarm thresholds for CO (compliant with PN-EN 50545-1:2012) and three separate outputs, which allow connection of optical or acoustic signaling devices, as well as control of additional devices, e.g. ventilation system. Additionally, GAZEX detectors are factory calibrated in their own laboratory accredited according to PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which guarantees high measurement accuracy.
