Gas detector – safety and control in one device
The WG-28.EGx/A24 gas detector is an advanced device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon monoxide (CO) and carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations in rooms. It utilizes two types of sensors – a semiconductor for CO measurement and an optical (infra-red) sensor for CO2 measurement, ensuring precise and reliable results. The device is particularly useful in areas where there is a risk of these gases accumulating, such as garages, boiler rooms, or rooms with heating appliances.
Functionality and application
The WG-28.EGx/A24 detector offers a wide range of alarm configuration options, with three thresholds for each monitored gas: 30/60/150 ppm for CO and 1000/1400/1800 ppm for CO2. If the set values are exceeded, the detector activates both optical and acoustic signaling. Additionally, it has three NO contact outputs, which allow connection of external alarm devices or ventilation control systems. The ability to connect an external 12V=/80mA siren expands the functionality of the device and allows it to be adapted to individual needs. 24V power supply ensures stable and reliable operation.
- Wide range of applications: ideal for garages, boiler rooms, rooms with heating appliances, and anywhere where monitoring of CO and CO2 concentrations is required.
- Two sensors in one device: the combination of a semiconductor (CO) and optical (CO2) sensor provides comprehensive monitoring.
- Configurable alarm thresholds: the ability to set three alarm thresholds for each gas allows precise adjustment to the specifics of a given room.
- Contact outputs: enable integration with alarm systems or ventilation control.
- Optical and acoustic signaling: quick notification of exceeding the permissible gas concentration levels.
Construction and parameters
The device is characterized by a solid construction and compact dimensions (80 x 195 x 68 mm). The use of high-quality components guarantees long life and reliable operation. The detector is calibrated in its own GAZEX Calibrating Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150), which confirms the accuracy and reliability of the measurements. 24V= power supply ensures compatibility with most standard electrical installations. The device is designed to operate in various environmental conditions, ensuring continuous monitoring even in difficult industrial or commercial conditions.
