The WG-8R8.EG gas detector is a reliable device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in various spaces – from garages and underground parking lots, through vehicle inspection stations, to warehouses and logistics centers. Its main task is to ensure safe working and usage conditions by early detection of dangerous gas levels and activating alarms and control systems.

Construction and principle of operation

The detector uses an IR (infrared) sensor to precisely measure the CO2 concentration. A built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation, thermal compensation, and the possibility of testing and calibration without the need to open the housing. The device is fully automatic, does not require adjustment, and is characterized by easy operation thanks to the replaceable gas sensor. Signaling of exceeding alarm thresholds is done using a built-in optical indicator.
