The WG-8R8.EGx/A-Nstd gas detector is a reliable device designed for continuous monitoring of carbon dioxide (CO₂) concentration in enclosed spaces. It utilizes an IRp sensor, ensuring precise measurement and long-term stability. The device finds wide application in various facilities, such as: underground garages and parking lots (ventilation control), vehicle inspection stations (exhaust extraction control), solid fuel boiler rooms, machine rooms with refrigeration units, cold storage rooms, and rooms with air conditioning systems. Thanks to the possibility of connecting a built-in or external siren, the detector effectively alarms when the permissible CO₂ levels are exceeded, allowing for a quick response and preventing potential hazards.

Construction and characteristic features

The WG-8R8.EGx/A-Nstd detector stands out with its solid construction and advanced features. A built-in microprocessor ensures reliability, stable operation, and thermal compensation circuitry. The device has three alarm thresholds and three NO-type relay outputs, enabling integration with ventilation control systems or other safety devices. 12V power supply provides installation flexibility, and the possibility of custom calibration guarantees measurement accuracy tailored to specific user needs. It is worth emphasizing that GAZEX detectors are calibrated in their own Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation No. AP150).

Additionally, a replaceable measuring head allows for easy and inexpensive operation of the device – after the sensor's service life expires, it can simply be replaced with a new one without the need to replace the entire detector. Optical signaling informs about the need for calibration (recommended period of 3 years for CO₂, 10 years for carbon dioxide).
