Oxygen gas detector – reliable monitoring and safety
Oxygen gas detector WG-9E5.EGx/A is an autonomous device designed for continuous monitoring of oxygen concentration in enclosed spaces. It utilizes an electrochemical sensor, which ensures precise measurements and a quick response to changes in gas concentration. The device is particularly useful in places where excessive oxygen concentration may pose a hazard, such as oxygen therapy rooms, laboratories, or welding processes.
This detector is part of the WG.EGx series, known for its economical operation and ease of installation. Its design combines a gas detector, power supply, control unit and siren in a single splash-proof housing (IP54), simplifying installation and ensuring reliable operation. A built-in microprocessor takes care of stable operation, temperature compensation and automatic device operation.
Application and benefits:
- Oxygen concentration control: Precise measurement in the range of 0-25% v/v (calibration on request), which allows for effective monitoring and response to potential hazards.
- Versatility: Ideal for use in garages, underground parking lots, boiler rooms, rooms with air conditioning systems and anywhere there is a risk of excessive oxygen concentration.
- Economy: Replaceable gas sensor lowers operating costs and allows for easy device maintenance.
- Alarm signaling: Built-in optical and acoustic signaling informs about exceeding the permissible oxygen concentration limits. Additionally, three NO (normally open) contact outputs are available for connecting external alarm devices or ventilation systems.
- Reliability: Built-in microprocessor ensures stable operation and resistance to interference. The device is calibrated in the GAZEX Calibration Laboratory accredited in accordance with PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 (PCA No. AP150).
- Easy installation: Removable terminals facilitate connection of multi-core wires, and the compact design simplifies mounting.
Technical specifications:
The device operates at 12V DC, making it compatible with a wide range of power sources. It has three NO (normally open) contact outputs for connecting external alarm devices or ventilation control systems, as well as a built-in alarm siren. All elements are placed in a solid housing providing protection against moisture and mechanical damage. The detector is factory calibrated, however, the measurement range can be adjusted to individual customer needs.
