Gas installation safety monitoring module – reliable control

This monitoring module, designed to work with GAZEX gas detectors, is a key element of the detection and protection system in gas installations. The MDP-4.Z/M device provides continuous control and power to up to four detectors, offering comprehensive protection against leaks and hazards. The module is compatible with both measurement and threshold detectors, making it a versatile solution for various types of installations.

Functionality and application

The MDP-4.Z/M module is used in the Two-Threshold Gas Detection System and in the Active Gas Installation Safety System GX. It allows monitoring the status of gas detectors of the type DEX/P, DG/P, DEX/F, DEX/A, DG/F and DG.EN. This makes it possible to quickly detect dangerous gas concentrations and activate appropriate alarm procedures. The module can control additional optical and acoustic signaling devices and cooperate with other devices via relay outputs and the RS-485 port. The version with the "Z" designation allows controlling shut-off valves, providing an additional level of safety.

Construction and mounting

The MDP-4.Z/M module is characterized by a solid construction and ease of mounting thanks to removable, self-tightening wire connectors. The device is designed to operate in standard environmental conditions and meets applicable safety standards. The internal memory of the module stores the last 1600 events with information about the start and end time and the source of the event, which facilitates the analysis of potential problems in the future.
