Mushroom valve ZB-50 is a component of safety systems for gas installations, designed to quickly shut off the gas supply in case of its detection. This is particularly important in gas boiler rooms, residential buildings and other facilities where safety is a priority. This valve can also function as a manual shut-off valve.

Construction and principle of operation

The ZB-50 valve is opened manually, providing control over gas flow under normal conditions. A key feature is the ability to close the valve using a 12V= electrical impulse or manually – using a special button. It is worth emphasizing that the valve does not require constant power supply in either the open or closed position, which translates to energy saving. An electrical impulse of short duration (less than 1 second) is sufficient to close it. Independence from the power supply means that a power failure does not affect the valve's status – the gas remains cut off or flows according to the setting.

The ZB-50 mushroom valve is widely used in gas detection systems, where immediate shut-off of the gas supply is crucial for safety. By cooperating with gas detectors, the valve reacts to exceeding the permissible gas concentration, automatically blocking its flow. Additional advantages include:
