Methane detector DEX-14/N – reliable protection in industry. The DEX-14/N gas detector is a two-threshold meter designed for continuous monitoring of methane concentration in the working environment. The device, made in an aluminum housing (F4-C design) and equipped with a semiconductor sensor (p-p), provides effective protection against hazards related to explosion or gas poisoning. It is an ideal solution for industrial halls where the risk of methane leakage is increased.

DEX-14/N signals exceeding two factory-set alarm thresholds (A1, A2), allowing for a quick response in an emergency. The explosion-proof design of the device (Ex db IIB T6) allows its safe use in areas with a risk of explosion of gases of various explosiveness groups (IIA, IIB, IIC) and temperature classes (T1-T6).

Application and compatibility

The detector is designed to work with various GAZEX control modules, such as MD-1.A/T, MD-1, MD-2, MD-4, MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1 PLUS, MDP-4, MDP-8, MDP-16 and addressable modules MDD-1, MDD-1/T and MDD-1x/T. This allows integration with existing detection and alarm systems.
