This carbon monoxide (CO) detector is designed for continuous air monitoring in residential and auxiliary rooms where there is a risk of this dangerous gas emission. Its task is to quickly detect dangerous CO concentrations and warn you of a potential threat to health and life. Remember, carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless, so its presence may go unnoticed without an appropriate detector.

The DK-22/E detector is ideal for installation in places exposed to carbon monoxide formation, such as:

• boiler rooms (especially with boilers without flue gas sensors),
• kitchens equipped with gas stoves and heaters with an open combustion chamber,

• rooms with fireplaces or coal/wood stoves,

Thanks to its reliability and ease of use, this detector provides peace of mind for you and your family. The device signals an alarm both visually (red light) and audibly (loud siren). Additionally, it has an output allowing connection of an external alarm siren DK-S3 to increase the effectiveness of warning.

Technical Characteristics and Construction

The DK-22/E detector uses an electrochemical gas sensor, which is characterized by high precision and long life. 230V power supply ensures stable operation of the device. The housing made of durable ABS plastic protects the internal components from mechanical damage. It is worth noting the possibility of connecting additional elements of the security system via alarm outputs – this provides flexibility in configuring the monitoring system. In the event of a CO concentration of 50 ppm, the alarm is triggered within 60-90 minutes, at 100 ppm – 10-40 minutes, and at 300 ppm – the alarm is triggered immediately. The detector complies with the PN-EN 50291-1 standard.

Important Information for Installers and Users

The detector should be installed according to the operating instructions. It should be placed on the wall, at the height of an adult's head or more than 30 cm from the ceiling, near a potential source of CO emission. Regular testing of the detector using the "TEST" button allows you to ensure its correct operation. The sensor should be replaced every few years (according to the manufacturer's recommendations) to ensure continuous effectiveness of the device. Remember to regularly clean the detector from dust and dirt to avoid false alarms. The device has a 36-month manufacturer's warranty from Gazex.
