Silent-PP Reducer Bend – Quiet drainage in your home

This is a reducer bend from Geberit's Silent-PP series, designed for internal drainage systems. It allows connection of pipes with diameters of 50 mm and 40 mm at an angle of 87.5°. Made of high-quality polypropylene (PP-MD), it ensures durability and reliability of the connection. This bend is a key element in installations where a pipe diameter reduction is required, e.g., when connecting drains from washbasins or other sanitary appliances to the main drainage axis.

Construction and application

The Silent-PP bend is characterized by a special design that minimizes the noise of flowing wastewater. Thanks to the use of PP-MD material and an EPDM gasket, the connection is tight and corrosion-resistant. In combination with other elements of the Silent-PP system, it creates a complete drainage installation with a reduced noise level. The use of this bend is particularly important in residential buildings, hotels or hospitals, where acoustic comfort is of great importance.

The bend has a push-fit spigot and a push-fit socket, which facilitates assembly and disassembly without the need for glue or welding. The working lengths of the connections are 31 mm and 35 mm respectively, ensuring a stable and secure pipe connection. The gasket material – ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber (EDPM) – ensures long-lasting tightness even in difficult operating conditions.
