Silent-PP pipe – quiet and efficient drainage

The Silent-PP pipe is an ideal solution for building drainage systems in buildings where noise reduction is particularly important. Made of high-quality plastic, it provides not only effective wastewater drainage but also acoustic comfort. The pipe's construction minimizes the sound of flowing water, which will be appreciated by both end-users and installers during testing and system operation.

The pipe is characterized by a nominal diameter of DN 50 and a length of 1000 mm. It is an element of a low-noise drainage system, intended for sanitary applications. Made in a 3-layer technology, with a white inner layer and an EPDM gasket, it guarantees the tightness and durability of connections. A ring stiffness class of SN4 ensures resistance to mechanical loads.

Construction and properties

The Silent-PP pipe stands out from traditional solutions primarily due to its sound-dampening properties. This was achieved thanks to the use of a special pipe wall construction and materials with high density. The coefficient of thermal expansion is 0.08 mm/(m·K), which should be taken into account during installation, especially in the case of longer installation sections. The pipe wall thickness is 2 mm, which ensures adequate mechanical strength.

The pipe is resistant to weather conditions and can be stored outdoors for up to two years without losing its properties. This makes it a convenient solution for installation companies, which can store materials on the construction site without fear of damage. The system pipe allows for the creation of complex drainage installations, and the absence of a socket requires the use of appropriate push-fit connectors to ensure a tight connection.
