Construction and properties

The Silent-PP pipe is distinguished by its 3-layer construction. The inner layer is made of PP-C, the middle layer of PP-MD and the outer layer of PP-C. This construction provides high resistance to mechanical and chemical damage. Additionally, the pipe has a coefficient of thermal expansion of 0.08 mm/(m.K), which minimizes the risk of deformation under temperature changes. The circumferential stiffness class SN4 guarantees resistance to external loads.

It is worth noting the presence of an EPDM gasket, which ensures the tightness of connections and prevents leaks. The pipe is also resistant to atmospheric conditions and can be stored outdoors for up to two years without losing its properties. The water content in the pipe is 0.6 l/m and the wall thickness is 2 mm.

Application and installation

The Silent-PP pipe is widely used in internal drainage installations, both in residential and commercial buildings. It is compatible with other elements of the Geberit Silent-PP system, allowing for the creation of complex installations with high efficiency and reliability. Connections are made using push-fit sleeves - easy to install and ensuring a tight connection. This pipe is intended for non-pressure installations.
