Silent-PP Drainage Fitting – Quiet and Reliable Installation
This 90° tee from the Geberit Silent-PP series is a key element in drainage systems in buildings. Made of high-quality polypropylene (PP), it provides not only durability and corrosion resistance but, above all, reduces the noise of flowing media. It is an ideal solution for both new installations and the modernization of existing systems.
This tee connects three pipes with a nominal diameter of DN 90, allowing for effective branching of the installation. The design with a gentle inlet minimizes flow turbulence, which further contributes to reducing noise levels. Seals made of EPDM rubber guarantee the tightness of the connections for a long service life.
Construction and assembly
The Silent-PP tee is characterized by simple assembly thanks to push-fit connections. It does not require complicated tools or specialized knowledge – just properly prepared pipes and pushing them into the tee sockets. The wall thickness of the connections is 3.1 mm, which ensures adequate mechanical strength and structural stability. All connections are equipped with seals, eliminating the risk of leaks.
The use of polypropylene (PP-MD) as the material of manufacture guarantees high resistance to the action of chemical substances present in wastewater and to temperature changes. The tee is intended for use in internal drainage systems where noise reduction is particularly important – e.g. in residential buildings, hospitals or hotels. The angle of 87.5° facilitates optimal adaptation to the existing installation.
