Stainless steel reducing fitting – a reliable connection
This GEBO reducing fitting, made of AISI 316L stainless steel, is a solid and durable solution for connecting pipes of different diameters. The transition from a 1 inch thread to 1/2 inch allows for flexible adaptation of the installation to specific needs. The fitting is ideal for both new installations and modernization of existing ones.
The use of high-quality materials guarantees resistance to corrosion and the action of aggressive chemicals, making it an excellent choice for demanding working conditions. The possibility of replacing traditional brass fittings with steel ones is an additional benefit, especially in installations exposed to high pressure or temperature.
Material and operating parameters
The fitting is made of AISI 316L stainless steel (1.4408, 1.4404), which ensures its exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. It has a tapered gas external thread (BSPT), which ensures a tight connection. The simple shape facilitates assembly and integration with other installation elements.
Made of high-quality AISI 316L stainless steel, it ensures long-term operation even in difficult conditions. Allows connection of pipes with a diameter of 1 inch (25 mm) and reduction to 1/2 inch (15 mm). Designed to operate at temperatures up to 220°C and at a pressure of approximately 10.5 bar (150 lbs). It is characterized by high resistance to corrosive substances (acids), making it ideal for industrial and laboratory applications.
The fitting is marked with the symbol g316 or g6, which facilitates identification of the material and ensures confidence in its quality. It is intended for use with water, drinking water and various chemicals.
