Stainless steel threaded tee – a reliable connection in demanding installations
This stainless steel threaded tee is a solid connecting element designed for branching pipe installations. Made of high-quality stainless steel 304L (1.4306), it ensures long-lasting and trouble-free operation even in harsh conditions. Its construction allows connecting pipes with a nominal diameter of 2 inches (50 mm) at a 90-degree angle, and the BSPT-Rp threads (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) guarantee tightness and easy installation.
Materials and application – durability and resistance
The stainless steel 304L used is characterized by high corrosion resistance, making this tee an ideal solution for water installations, including those intended for drinking water, as well as for heating systems and the transport of chemicals. It can successfully replace traditional brass fittings, offering significantly higher durability and resistance to external factors. The maximum operating temperature is 220°C, and the maximum pressure is approximately 10.5 bar (150 lbs), confirming its versatility and reliability.
Design and installation – simple solutions for professionals
The tee has three threaded connections with a nominal diameter of 2 inches (50 mm) and an outer pipe diameter of 60.3 mm. The cylindrical BSPT-Rp threads provide a secure and tight connection with steel pipes or other installation elements with the appropriate thread. The marking "g316" or "g6" on the product confirms the use of high-quality stainless steel AISI 316L (1.4408, 1.4404). Installation is simple and intuitive, which translates into saving time and labor costs.
