Universal clamping connectors for steel and PE pipes

The Gebo QUICK QT 1 1/4" clamping tee is a reliable solution for connecting sections of water installations, made of both steel and polyethylene (PE). This connector is suitable for repairing existing pipelines and for building new installations, including those for drinking water. The tee design also allows connection to compressed air lines.

Connectors in the Quick series are characterized by their versatility and ease of installation – the whole process takes only a few minutes. Solid construction made of ductile iron EN-GJMB-350-10 ensures durability and resistance to damage, even at high temperatures (up to 80°C). A tight seal is guaranteed by the NBR rubber ring, and hot-dip galvanizing of the body and nut provides protection against corrosion.

Construction and materials

The QT connector consists of several key elements selected for reliability and durability:

• Body: Ductile iron EN-GJMB-350-10 – provides strength and rigidity of the structure.
• Clamping nut: Ductile iron EN-GJMB-350-10 – is responsible for a strong and stable connection.
• Clamping ring: Galvanized steel – ensures a firm grip on the pipe.
• Compression ring: Galvanized steel – further strengthens the connection.
• Sealing ring: NBR rubber – guarantees a leak-proof connection.
• Thread: Compliant with ISO 7/1 and DIN EN 10226-1 standards – ensures compatibility with other installation elements.

The use of high-quality materials and precise workmanship translate into a long service life of the connector and minimize the risk of failure. Application and compatibility

The Gebo QUICK QT 1 1/4" clamping tee is designed to connect pipes with an outer diameter of 40.0 to 42.9 mm. It can be used with:

• Steel pipes according to DIN EN 10255
• Black steel pipes according to DIN EN 10220 series 1, 2 and 3
• PE pipes (in the case of PE pipes, it is recommended to use reinforcing sleeves)

The connector is compatible with various types of water and compressed air installations (for steel pipes only). Remember to check the compatibility of the installation operating parameters with the permissible values for GEBO Quick connectors (working pressure: compressed air 10 bar; water 10 bar).
