Stainless steel threaded tee – a reliable connection in your system
This reducing threaded tee, made of stainless steel, is a key element in installations requiring durability and corrosion resistance. It is ideal for both water systems and those transporting chemicals. The design allows connecting pipes of different diameters – 1 1/2 inch and 1 inch – providing flexibility in installation design. Made of high-quality materials, it ensures tightness and long-term reliability.
Materials and application
The tee is made of stainless steel 304L (1.4306), which guarantees high resistance to corrosion and the action of aggressive media. It can be used as a replacement for brass fittings, offering a much longer service life, especially in harsh environmental conditions. It is suitable for working with drinking water, chemicals and other media at temperatures up to 220°C and pressures up to 10.5 bar (150 lbs). This makes it suitable for use in:
- water and heating installations,
- industrial systems,
- chemical laboratories,
- food industry.
Design and characteristic features
The tee has a cylindrical internal BSPT-Rp thread (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) at all ends, which facilitates assembly and disassembly. The bending angle of the tee is 90 degrees, which ensures optimal medium flow. The nutted construction further increases the stability of the connection. The marking "g316" or "g6" on the product confirms the use of high-quality stainless steel AISI 316L (or AISI 304 depending on the marking). This guarantees solidity and reliability even in demanding operating conditions.
