Electrofusion elbow for PE pipes – reliability and durability of connections
This is a 90-degree electrofusion elbow made of high-density polyethylene (PE100) with a nominal diameter of DN125 and an outer diameter of 160 mm. Designed for welding/buttfusion, it provides a tight and durable connection in gas and water installations. Its construction, based on electrofusion technology, guarantees high strength and corrosion resistance.
Construction and application
The elbow is made of PE-100 with an SDR11 dimension ratio, which means an appropriate wall thickness in relation to the pipe diameter. This makes it resistant to working pressure up to 16 bar (PN16 for water and PN10 for gas). The 90-degree bend allows changing the direction of the installation at a right angle. The applications of the electrofusion elbow include:
