Electrofusion socket – reliable connection of PE pipes

Electrofusion socket with a diameter of 25 mm, made of polyethylene (PE100) and with an SDR11 ratio, is a key element of gas and water installations. Its wall thickness is 1 mm, which, combined with the SDR11 ratio, provides adequate pressure resistance – PN10 for gas and PN16 for water. Supplied in a raw state, it requires preparation before welding. The heating coil placed on the surface of the socket optimizes heat transfer during the welding process, eliminating the need for additional holders to hold the pipes. This makes the work easier and speeds up installation. It can also be used as a repair socket in case of damage to the installation.
