This adapter is a key solution for connecting polyethylene (PE) pipes with installations featuring external threads. Made of dezincification-resistant brass (DZR) and polyethylene (PE-100), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance, which is particularly important in water and gas installations. Design and application

The adapter combines the advantages of welded and threaded connections. One side has a plastic sleeve, prepared for electrofusion welding with PE pipes, while the other side is equipped with a GZ 1 1/4 inch external thread. This allows for effective connection of PE pipes with traditional threaded connection elements – valves, elbows or other fittings. SDR 11 is a dimension ratio that determines the proportion of outer diameter to pipe wall thickness – the lower the SDR value, the thicker the wall and the higher the pressure resistance.
