How does the Actibio 6 treatment plant work?

The cleaning process in Actibio 6 takes place in two stages. First, wastewater flows into the settling tank, where preliminary separation of solid impurities takes place. Then, in the biological reactor with activated sludge, proper biological cleaning takes place, in which microorganisms break down organic pollutants. The reactor's operating cycle is divided into four 6-hour phases: filling, aeration, sedimentation and discharge of purified wastewater. Additionally, the system offers a sludge recirculation function, which increases the efficiency of the process.
