How does the ACTIBIO8 treatment plant work?

The purification process in ACTIBIO8 takes place in two stages: in the preliminary sedimentation tank, where floating pollutants are collected and the unevenness of discharges is leveled, and in the biological reactor with activated sludge, where the actual biological decomposition of pollutants takes place. The operation of the reactor is divided into four 6-hour daily cycles, including filling, aeration, sedimentation and discharge of purified wastewater. Such a work cycle allows for optimal use of microorganisms and obtaining high-quality purified water.

Construction and assembly

The ACTIBIO8 treatment plant consists of two tanks made of durable PEHD polyethylene with a capacity of 3400 liters each. The set includes an external control box and telescopic superstructures enabling height adjustment of the covers. Installation requires excavation of appropriate dimensions, preparation of bedding and backfilling, and connection of inlet and outlet connections in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. It is also important to properly lead the ventilation pipe above the roof or to a height of at least 2 meters.

Compliance with standards and operating conditions

The ACTIBIO8 treatment plant meets the requirements of PN-EN 12566-3 and has the National Technical Assessment ITB-KOT-2019/0829, which confirms its high quality and safety of use.
