The Epurbio septic tank with a capacity of 2700 liters is the first stage of wastewater treatment in installations designed for a maximum of 6 users. The tank, made of durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE), provides a solid foundation for an effective treatment system. It is an ideal solution for both new installations and modernization of existing ones, especially in combination with drainage or tunnel wastewater treatment plants.

Construction and application

The tank is designed for easy installation and subsequent operation. It is equipped with a biological filter that pre-treats wastewater, and the telescopic D400 H500 covers allow the height to be adjusted to the terrain conditions. This makes installation easier and operation more comfortable. This tank works perfectly in gravity systems, requiring no additional power.

Installation and requirements

Proper installation of the tank requires an area of approximately 18 m². It is important to prepare appropriate ground – a layer of sand with a thickness of 10 cm, compacted before backfilling the tank. It is recommended to maintain minimum distances from buildings (2 m), property line (2 m), trees and shrubs (3 m) and wells (15 m from the drainage field). The maximum height of the embankment above the tank should not exceed 0.6 m without additional structural reinforcement. Remember to perform a leak test before backfilling the tank with layer-by-layer compacted sand.

Additional information

The Epurbio 2700L tank is compatible with various drainage systems, both tubular and tunnel. The set includes DN400 diameter inspection hatches to facilitate access to the inside of the tank for inspection and maintenance. For optimal operation of the treatment plant, it is recommended to use biopreparations to support the decomposition of organic matter.
