LED Recessed Panel, Designed for Suspended and Recessed Ceilings

LED STELLA panel is designed for installation in cassette-style, modular suspended ceilings or directly into recessed ceilings — without the need for additional frames. Its 35 mm thickness allows installation even in confined spaces, and the white-painted aluminum frame ensures a clean, uniform appearance without requiring additional diffusers.

The milky polystyrene (PS) lens with a micro-prismatic diffuser evenly disperses light, eliminating the “hot spot” effect and preventing material yellowing — thanks to direct thermal baking technology, surface overheating is avoided. Each LED is equipped with an individual optic, delivering uniform, shadow-free illumination.

The LED driver CCD is built-in — no external driver required. Power factor PF=0.98 ensures efficient reactive power compensation, reducing load on the electrical system and benefiting installations with limited capacity. The panel is not dimmable — it does not support DALI, TRIAC, or any other brightness control protocols.

Energy Efficiency and Longevity

Energy consumption is 69% lower than traditional 4xT8/18W/VVG fluorescent fixtures — a result confirmed by comparative measurements. Luminous efficacy reaches 120 lm/W, with a luminous flux of 4800 lm (LED sources emit 5600 lm). Color temperature is neutral white (4000 K) with a color rendering index Ra=80 — ideal for offices, schools, or healthcare facilities where accurate color perception is essential.

Rated lifespan is 35 000 hours — at 10 hours per day, this equals over 9 years of operation. Operating temperature range from -20°C to +40°C allows installation even in unheated halls or corridors. Protection class IP20 and Class II ensure safety in standard dry indoor environments.

Installation and Compatibility

The panel is sold in packs of 2 pieces; a carton contains 8 pieces. Installation on normally flammable substrates is possible — no additional thermal insulation required. Compatible with PIR and HF motion sensors — ideal for automatic lighting shutoff systems in spaces with variable usage intensity.

Warranty is 5 years — covers the entire unit, including the driver. Compliant with RoHS and carries the CE mark. Recessed installation is possible without an additional frame — mounting clips (GXLS393) are available for direct fixation to plasterboard.
