Grohe Red Duo is not just a faucet – it’s a complete system, consisting of an elegant pillar tap and an efficient boiler with a capacity of 4 liters (3 liters of boiling water 100°C). This gives you access to boiling water in seconds, perfect for preparing tea, coffee, or blanching vegetables. The L-shaped spout with a 150° swivel range provides freedom of movement and makes work easier even in crowded kitchens. Additionally, the insulated spout protects against accidental burns.

Safety first

Safety is a key aspect of the Grohe Red Duo system. It is equipped with a GROHE ChildLock safety lock – the button to activate the boiling water requires simultaneous pressing and lifting, preventing accidental activation by children. The system also has TÜV certification and triple electronic protection against accidental activation. A backflow preventer compliant with EN 1717 (class AA) further increases safety.

Filtration and limescale protection

The set includes a GROHE Red filter, which protects the boiler from limescale deposits and ensures long-lasting performance. The filter has a capacity of 600 liters with a water hardness of 20° dKH and uses a 5-stage filtration process. This translates to a longer system life and stable water quality. Power is supplied via a hose (cable gland) at 230 V, and the power consumption is 2100 W during operation and 15 W in standby mode – energy class A guarantees reasonable energy consumption. The GROHE StarLight chrome finish ensures durability and ease of cleaning.
