Functionality and ease of use

The Grohe Red Duo system offers a dual-channel outlet – standard mixed water and boiling water at 100°C. This gives you everything you need in one place. The C-spout with a 150° swivel angle provides freedom of movement and makes it easier to fill even large pots. The GROHE ChildLock safety lock protects against accidental activation of the boiling water, which is particularly important in homes with children. In addition, GROHE CoolTouch technology ensures that the tap housing remains cool to the touch, even when hot water is flowing.

Construction and components

At the heart of the system is a 7-liter boiler (5.5 liters of boiling water), made of durable titanium – a material resistant to corrosion and scale build-up. This guarantees long-term reliability and water purity. The set also includes a GROHE Red filter, which protects the boiler from scale build-up and improves the taste and quality of the water. The tap is equipped with a GROHE SilkMove ceramic cartridge with a diameter of 28 mm, providing smooth and precise flow and temperature control. The whole is completed by a high-quality GROHE StarLight chrome coating, which gives the tap an elegant look and makes it easy to keep clean.
