Compact mixing system – a simple solution for efficient temperature control
The Grundfos MIXIT system is a ready-to-use solution for building mixing circuits in heating and cooling installations. Designed for ease of installation and configuration, MIXIT significantly simplifies the traditional approach to supply temperature control, whether for radiator, underfloor heating or air handling units. The system works well both in new installations and during the modernization of existing commercial facilities.
MIXIT is not only saving time and costs, but above all guarantees reliability and full integration. Instead of combining components from different manufacturers, you receive a complete system with a single source of responsibility and technical support. This makes the design, installation and operation of the mixing circuit intuitive and efficient.
Intelligent design for professionals and users
The key to MIXIT's success is the combination of a highly intelligent valve assembly with a MAGNA3 circulation pump. The integrated actuator, controller and flow and temperature sensors eliminate the need for additional control elements and wiring. Grundfos GLoWPAN wireless communication between MIXIT and the MAGNA3 pump further simplifies installation.
The regulating valve in MIXIT is independent of pressure and has a balancing function, which ensures precise temperature control throughout the system. The built-in check valve (in versions with threaded connections) protects the installation against backflow. Versions with a flange are also available, where the check valve is available as a separate element.
Ease of configuration and integration with BMS
Configuring the MIXIT system is extremely simple – both using the intuitive control panel on the device and via the Grundfos GO Remote mobile application. The built-in fieldbus (BACnet, Modbus or GENIbus) enables easy integration with building automation systems (BMS), allowing central control and monitoring of the entire heating or cooling system. In addition, thermal insulation linings supplied with the product ensure compliance with the ENeV regulation for heating installations.
