Flangeless circulation pump for heating and cooling systems

The MAGNA3 circulation pump is an advanced solution designed for efficient water circulation in heating and cooling systems, both in residential and commercial buildings. The flangeless design minimizes the risk of the pump becoming blocked by impurities, which translates to reliability and long life. Thanks to the AutoAdapt technology, the pump automatically adjusts operating parameters to the current needs of the system, optimizing energy consumption and ensuring user comfort.

Functionality and application

The MAGNA3 100-40 F 450 is equipped with a 0.493 kW motor and provides a nominal flow rate of up to 24.91 m³/h at a head of 47.12 kPa (4 m). It is designed to work with installations with a maximum operating pressure of 16 bar, and its housing made of GG 25 (GJL-250) cast iron guarantees strength and corrosion resistance. Stepless speed control and a built-in controller allow for precise adaptation of the pump to the specifics of the installation.

Communication and control

MAGNA3 offers a wide range of communication possibilities, making it easy to integrate with building management systems (BMS). It supports protocols such as Modbus RTU, BACnet MS/TP, LON/LONWorks and EtherNet/IP, as well as has analog interfaces (0-10 V / 2-10 V and 0-20 mA / 4-20 mA) and digital interfaces (potential-free changeover contact). Additionally, the pump is prepared for communication via RS-485 and PROFIBUS. The lack of support for wireless communication Bluetooth, WLAN or 5G standards allows you to focus on stable and proven wired connection methods. This gives installers great flexibility in system configuration and pump monitoring.
