Its key feature is the ability to steplessly adjust the rotational speed, allowing for precise matching of performance to the current system needs. The built-in motor controller and functions such as AutoAdapt and AutoAdapt PLUS enable dynamic adjustment of the pump's operation to changing conditions, ensuring optimal energy efficiency and user comfort. This means the pump does not operate at full speed when it is not necessary, which translates to lower electricity bills.
Communication and integration with smart systems
MAGNA3 offers a wide range of communication possibilities with other devices in the heating system. It supports protocols such as PROFIBUS, RS-485, EtherNet/IP, Modbus RTU and BACnet MS/TP and LON/LONWorks, enabling integration with advanced building management systems (BMS). Additionally, it has 0-10 V / 2-10 V and 0-20 mA / 4-20 mA interface signals for easy integration with external controllers. The presence of a potential-free changeover contact allows for remote monitoring of the pump's operating status. The lack of wireless communication support (Bluetooth, WLAN or 5G) does not limit its functionality in typical heating installations.
Construction and materials
The pump housing is made of durable cast iron (GG 25), which ensures corrosion resistance and long-term operation even in difficult conditions.
