MAGNA3 40-180 F circulating pump is an advanced solution for heating and cooling systems, designed for efficiency and reliability. The MAGNA3 40-180 F is characterized by a nominal flow rate of 16.04 m³/h and a maximum head of up to 18 meters. Thanks to a wide range of operating temperatures from -10°C to +110°C, it finds application in various installations. Equipped with integrated differential pressure and temperature sensors, it allows for precise measurement of operating parameters and optimization of thermal energy consumption. The ability to connect an external liquid temperature sensor in the return pipe further increases the accuracy of measurements.
Intelligent control and communication
One of the key features of the pump is the built-in motor speed controller, enabling stepless speed adjustment. This allows the pump to be adapted to the current needs of the system, which translates into energy savings. The pump offers a wide range of communication interfaces: Modbus RTU, PROFIBUS, BACnet MS/TP, LON/LONWorks, EtherNet/IP, as well as RS-485 and RS-232. Additionally, it has 0-10 V / 2-10 V and 0-20 mA / 4-20 mA interface signals and a potential-free switching contact. This makes integration with building automation systems extremely simple. The built-in MI 201 communication interface allows control and monitoring via the Grundfos GO application.
Construction and mounting
The pump body is made of cast iron GG 25 (GJL-250), which ensures durability and corrosion resistance. Flanged connections with a nominal diameter of "Other" (according to EN 1092-2 standard) facilitate installation in existing systems. An innovative clamping ring allows for quick relocation and servicing of the pump head. The IPX4 degree of protection guarantees safe use in humid conditions. The pressure class of the connection flanges is PN6/PN10.
