Functionality and construction

Made of high-quality materials, the distribution box offers solid protection for the devices installed inside. It has two mounting plates, allowing for flexible placement of modules and accessories. A DIN rail inside the housing facilitates the installation of modular devices. The possibility of expansion allows the distribution box to be adapted to changing user needs. The snap-lock closure ensures secure closing of the housing, and the lack of a lock eliminates the need for additional security in less demanding applications.

The VU24NWB distribution box is designed for flush-mounting in walls, which saves space and provides an aesthetic look of the installation. Its dimensions (348 mm width, 505.5 mm height and 98 mm depth) and 89 mm recessed depth allow it to be adapted to most standard flush-mounted boxes. The IP30 protection class protects against accidental contact with live wires and against the ingress of solid objects larger than 2.5 mm. The width expressed in number of modules is 12, which allows for the installation of a large number of protective and control devices. The lack of earth and neutral terminal strips requires the use of appropriate connectors directly on the DIN rail or inside modular devices – this is a typical solution for this type of multimedia distribution boxes.
